Why the Jurassic Coast? its an area of coastline that has fascinated me for a very long time and being a world heritage site it attracts people from all around whether its to see the incredible landscapes or even to do some fossil hunting. But what makes the Jurassic Coast the Jurassic Coast? Now it cant be narrowed down into one certain aspect and being 95 miles long it would be impossible to have one distinctive feature. However, the most popular feature would most definitely be the that it is Britain's most iconic fossil hunting location and as the fossils are so plentiful and richest heritage cite for prehistoric remains and they're relatively easy to find it brings people from all over to have a chance. The Jurassic Coast itself was granted UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) status for its outstanding geology as well as revealing 185 million years of Earth's history. Now the 95 miles of coastline that this expands upon is on the south western coast reaching from from Old Harry at Studland Bay all the way to Exmouth at East Devon with plenty of sea towns to visit in-between.
What I Plan To Shoot
The images above are just some reference images that are just some of the thing i would like to capture. Seeing these images would do good to help me build my idea and actually picture these things a little better. Whilst looking through these images, I've already decided that i want to have a lot of landscapes / details shots / shots of the towns even some portraits of the fossil hunters that go there. At the moment i am also aiming for about 24 images in total with them being in their own respective sections. One section being landscapes, another being portraits, another being detail shots and the last from being around the towns. I would like to have 5 from each section which would bring me to 20 images, i would then like to have 4 images that will sit in between these images to work as a transition, something to bring the different sections together.
