The project aims to create a different dynamic in the city, both socially as cultural and to emphasize the relationship between merchants and creative residents. The proposal comes by the invitation of ACCCRO that gave complete freedom of approach.
The intervention is created according to the city draw, a space-experience that cluster a central square of Caldas da Rainha. Besides being an object that lives by its plasticity, transparencies and fluctuations, the people are provoked to interact, surrounded by an impressive backdrop by the form that decontextualizes automated processes and the relationship between the city and the people who inhabit it.
Entering into the central vortex, the object becomes hibrid. The interaction man-object is reciprocal; the voice, the mensage, the in-put is returned immaterially, by the form of an eco. Absorved by this intimate space, parcially hidden, the subject is questioned about what it’s given by what is returned.Two months of projetual and construtive work raised this Vórtice made by steel and adherent film with the dimensions of 8x8x5 meters.
