About: For this project we had to work with a local business, in this case "House of Strut" (a vintage clothing store). We started by visiting the store and observing how the business worked, next we conducted interviews with the owner, employees, and costumers of the store. Based the material we gathered, we designed different journeys and through them, identified possible pain points and areas that could be improved within the business.
Our final delivery was a compilation of three of the journeys we had worked on, as well as a couple suggestions for improvement. Based on our suggestions the catalogue of store items went from handwritten papers to an online platform. There was a lot of miscommunication, so a group with all employees was created to streamline their interactions, guaranteeing that tasks were not repeated or explained over again. The photos in their website were very precarious, so we suggested changes around how they were taken and the background scenarios for them.
