Wall murals at Jamia Millia Islamia.
I with my friends from Jamia Millia Islamia painted the walls of the university.
Art in all its form, has challenged bravely the way the powerful manifest their power. When the powerful misuse their power and oppress the powerless, art resists. Since ages, protests have given the artists a way to courageously represent their frustration and anger piled up against any oppression through their art.

Something that catches the eye of the bystander while walking through the roads of Jamia Millia Islamia are the walls of the university. Walls have always made a bigger and a bolder canvas. Even if the revolution does not get televised, it always screams through the walls. These graffiti have been a motif of revolution here.
It fuses aesthetic and politics, offering a form of democratic participation and fosters the emergence of a powerful revolutionary culture. Basically, it urges you to ask questions through the art with a little humour added to it. It exposes grim truths, raise consciousness and build united fronts. It conveys a raw and uncensored message. A feeling arises that the walls communicate. They reflect the hard reality and encourages us to band together for right reasons.
