Sai-lence was a simple hand rendered illustration of a bonsai tree that was created with a graphite pencil. It was scanned and then manipulated using Illustrator and Photoshop CS6. A play on the word silence, this piece invokes a tranquil but unsettling pattern as the bonsai tree and white space conflict with the varied positioning of the trees.
