I've participated in Make Art that sells class "MATS Illustrating Children's Books PLUS". The title of the story is: "Jasper the Sloth isn't lazy". It was written by Lilla Rogers, so she owns the copyright. So I won't tell the story in full here, so as not to violate any copyrights. So the main character is a sloth, which moves little or slowly but thinks very actively. 

Task 1 - Character: Sketch and develop the main character "Jasper" and work out the sketches. Development of the friend "Lilly", Jasper's best friend. I intentionally chose completely different colours for Lilly than for Jasper. I want to use these colours for flowers and other plants, so there is a harmonious overall picture. 

Task 2 - Book double page: I decided on 2 pictures and 2 sentences and a mixture of separate picture and elements that go on both pages. And, you should be able to see that they are 2 different book pages.

Task 3 - Book cover: Design of the book cover including lettering
