Satsuki Shibuya
Moment is artist Satsuki Shibuya’s first book, which combines her poetry, verses, and watercolor paintings in a 115-page hardcover. For the book’s design, we sought to create a calming, meditative layout to match Satsuki’s practice. We used a soft palette of taupes, creams, and neutrals to complement the work and emphasize her paintings. Throughout the process, we provided creative direction with the goal of evoking Satsuki’s personality, and highlighting her work as both an artist and a spiritual thinker.
