The apartment is located in the Frankivsky district of Lviv, near the central part of the city. The two-story building was built at the beginning of the 20th century in the style of constructivism.
We sought to create a home that would be characterized by ergonomics, simplicity, and comfort in everything.

The initial layout had several drawbacks, so we maximized the amount of active area by destroying the non-load-bearing walls. Thanks to this, it became possible to design a complete bathroom, an ergonomic kitchen, a spacious living room with a dining table, and two bedrooms.

Even at the beginning of the renovation work, it was important to evaluate the existing historical elements and give them a new life. As a result, we restored authentic window frames with brass handles; interior doors were restored, changing the proportions of the slots; the floor covering was kept; also, we gave a new lease of life to the wooden wardrobe in the bedroom and modernized the old drain system from the Polish factory Corona.

The basis of the color palette is neutral shades - white, sand, gray, and black. They are inspired by nature and symbolize the laconic, monolithic design. Bright colors are also present in the interior; orange and dark blue act as accents. Contrasts play here an important role.
In general, the interior is characterized by strict forms, the lines are simple, clear, and understandable. It was important for us to use only convenient furniture, high-quality materials, and simple decor elements with minimal ornamentation.
The interior also includes items from cult brands, such as Artemide, Menu, E15, Calligaris, and Ikea.
A single sheet of stainless steel is used as a worktop and kitchen splashboard. The dining table is made according to individual sketches.
