Mawele Pottery is a South African family run pottery business, which started in 1996. The brief was to create an identity system and logo that was authentic to the South African story with a modern, warm and tribal look. It was super important that all of the accompanying patterns and imagery match the identity system and could be adaptable to a variety of usages.

The logo is a combination of Water + The African jug curves +The letter M. The logo mark is adaptable and interchangeable with there being horizontal and vertical logo versions for social media, press and other services the logo might be used for.
