Summer in Portugal is a series of photos I shot on a personal trip to the Algarve in late summer 2021. The aim for me was just to focus on scenes that caught my eye and to be right in the moment. To achieve that I decided to only bring one 35mm and one 120 film camera shooting everything on Kodak Portra. Slowing down and being so intentional about what I actually want to photograph made it a series with a high personal value to me - the picture above is probably my favorite photograph of 2021.
