Illustration for the Dutch Railway magazine, accompanying an article on their leading position in many areas. For this particular story the author dived into the world of enjoyment. You see her enjoying the view behind a beautifully set table, snow-capped mountains passing her by, while the kids are having fun in the next carriage.

SKETCHES
I searched for reference images of inspiring train journeys and of dutch railway uniforms (because the journalist is from this company.) With this information I sketched a composition and color proposal in photoshop.
After the client’s approval I finished the artwork in Procreate. This way I could use my favourite rough brushes and create a loose and sunny atmosphere.
