Kentucky Distilleries
Bourbon Map Illustration, 2020
Last year I had the great privilege to illustrate a Kentucky Bourbon Map for the Book »Bourbon: The Story of Kentucky Whiskey« by New York Times reporter Clay Risen – published by Ten Speed Press.
The book comes as a luxury boxed book with an ephemera set. The one-of-a-kind boxed set features a pull-out drawer that holds beautifully reproduced distillery maps and blueprints, rare bottle labels, and historical photographs.
For the fonts I used Sandleford (regular, italic) by Beasts of England as well as Shackleton by Brian Brubaker.
