In this campaign, Taylor O was willing to select the products that would represent the "Thainess" that is familiar to Thai people, or something that has a long history in the culture of Thailand, then try to "RE-DESIGN", "EXPERIMENT" and narrate it in the new tongue or something that is more contemporary. In each project, we will starting by considering that what they should be looked like, developed or reduced to be in this era.
In the second product, we decided to bring "Khim (Thai Dulcimer)" to be more thin and easy to carry with. So we named
it "Khim Portable" Including we trying to make it out in the form of an electric instrument. This may be the part that can add variety or dimension to this instrument. This Thai dulcimer have additional functions such as adjusting volume, bluetooth, tuning auto, reverb, low - high.
'Khim' has a history that recorded by many theories & beliefs. For example, there may be culture from China that came to do business during the Rattanakosin period, or The real origin may have originated from the Persian Empire hundreds of years ago. which was probably developed from a harp or yang qin instrument. The dulcimer is a musical instrument that is widely played in many countries as well.
