I am a huge Spider-Man fan. The idea of putting Miles Morales in streetwear and sneakers was kind of a no brainer, because he’s already done that. I simply wanted to portray him in my own sense of fashion. That’s why I have him rocking the Anta Nest SB-01 sneakers designed by Salehe Bembury, some cargo joggers, a denim jacket, and a hoodie. I shared some breakdown photos to show some of the process along with some detail shots. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
I chose Miles Morales to play the role since he is best known to wearing clothes over his suit in his early days. He’s also a sneaker head which made him a perfect choice! The clothes are honestly what I like to wear, so I gave him my own personal look.
Every window, every line - all done by hand. I chose blues and purples in different shades because I knew I would go in later to edit the colors as a whole, but I wanted to get different tones for the final edit.
Here the illustrating itself is done! From here it was just color editing and adding textures.
