Totes
Instead of using plastic carrier bags that are not environmentally friendly Swapp will make custom totes out of old t-shirts and shirts. Each one will be different, and lots of different size bags can be made using a variety of t-shirt sizes. The Swapp logo should be sprayed on using a stencil in an appropriate size..
Flyers
The flyers for Swapp are made from used postcards. The picture side is left blank and the Swapp logo and basic information is printed onto the back. This can be stenciled on by hand, or printed on using a deskjet or photo printer that takes small paper sizes.
Tags
Tags for items should be cut out from old cardboard boxes. On one side the Swapp logo should be sprayed on using a stencil, and a neon orange sticker should be used to contain the amount of points the item is worth, this should be stenciled on by hand. On the reverse the person swapping the item should write the reason why.
Points Cards
As Swapp is a money free business there is the need for a points card to keep track of points people have earnt and spent. For these old playing cards should be used. The Swapp logo should be stenciled on the reverse and then custom Swapp stickers can be collected on the other side. One sticker equals one point. Stickers are simply crossed out when the point has been spent.
Paper Bags
Paper bags for small items should be made from old papers, for example maps or newspapers. The Swapp logo should then be sprayed on using a stencil in the bottom right hand corner of the front of the bag.
In-store Display Signs
Humorous or relatable reasons people swap items should be displayed around the store. These are to be stenciled on to pieces of canvas cut from an old dust sheet. Eyelets are added on each corner and these are then suspended from the ceiling to floor with fine wire, the wire and canvas becoming taut. These will change regularly as new items are swapped and new reasons given.
