Web Design - Appsius
PROJECT SCOPE
This was a freelance project via Odesk. Appsius was a startup software-development company in Malta. They were a two men company who recently launched their first product and wanted to get more clients. They needed a simple website which says about the services they provide and their expertise. They also needed a logo for their startup which they could use for their mobile applications. So, the final deliverables were–
1. Company Logo
2. Responsive 1-page scrollable Website

IDEATION
I started the ideation process by sketching low fiedelity wireframes with pen on papers. Here are only a few of them that shows the desktop and mobile screens. I also used these to get quick feedbacks from the client.

ITERATION
I used my hand drawn sketches to get feedbacks and incorporated them in my rapid prototype.

Typically I would make the first prototype using Balsamiq but due to time constraint of this project I had to jump into the HTML /CSS. Moreover we decided to make it a single scrollable page consisting of similar sections. So, it deemed appropriate at that time to strap on the front-end coding.

I used Twitter Bootstrap 3.0 for the front end implementation.
Here is a link to the final prototype. The fonts were further modified by the client later.

RESPOSIVE DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
Using bootstrap I implemented the responsive website for Appsius. During the ideation process I sketched out designs for desktop, tablet and mobile screens. Most of the images used in the pictures are dummies because the client intended to make product shots later and input them on the site.
