Reach Out - Awareness Campaign

Project Overview
This campaign was created in partnership with The Purple Door, a local organization that provides free services to victims and survivors of family violence and sexual assault. The organization proposed an awareness campaign that would cover the topic of harmful societal masculine norms, often referred to as "toxic masculinity".

My target audience for this campaign is men who are struggling with their mental health, but do not feel comfortable seeking help. An unfortunate truth of our society is that men who struggle with mental health issues are often overlooked or brushed aside. Boys are often told to "man up" or are called harmful names simply for expressing emotion. I specifically wanted to address the pressure that men might feel to perpetuate these harmful masculine behaviors for fear of being ridiculed by their male peers. I developed these designs with the hope that I could capture the interest of viewers who might normally be resistant to the overall message of the campaign.

For this campaign I have created a poster, a trifold brochure with infographic, and ephemera in the form of a button.
