This project started originally as a challenge to myself: every day before work I would take half an hour to draw a single piece inspired by the Detective I posted on June 14th.
Over time the collection a into a film noir universe with over 30 illustrations. It was a refreshing change both to experiment with techniques, speed, working with Illustrator as well as simply following my personal inspiration without direction or outside influence. It even ended up becoming the visual identity for my music band. Hope you all like it and leave your comments below.
