Foot food is about putting your food in socks instead of your foot in socks. It makes complete sense in some sort of a poetic way.
Why do feet need to be dolled up when they are hardly even seen? In today’s context, socks have moved from simply being functional to becoming a key part of our attire. If even feet get to dress up, can the common sock do our food justice? Instead of gourmet presentations and fancy decorations, this series explores how a sock can be used in the case of storing and carrying food, so that it is not only safe and warm like how our feet are, but also pretty attention-grabbing.
This project was part of the U Showcase, Hack A ______, exhibiting from 13–22 December 2013 at the Ufactory, curated by Underscore. We got a generous week for conceptualisation till execution.
Thanks for looking! I really appreciate it.
