Mantodix digitalis dalianus.

Scavangers who roam the fallen cities of Galanus prime.
They live of moss, fungi and corroded metals. The double set of knees and ankles make them especially fast on uneven ground, such as ruins and old battlefields.
Mostly solitairy or small family groups, the mantodix have a unique ability to share memories, dreams and brainpower. Large groups with more than 10 members display near divine intelligence. Small groups can easily interact with humans, but large groups (although rare) are unpredictable because of their near divine intelligence.
