I had the chance to spend ten days in Brittany in late september 2021. Wild coasts, sharp rocks and oceanic weather offered quite some photographic opportunities as hoped. The series shows what I was able to capture in this special part of France. Most of these images are taken on Belle-Île-en-Mer, a small island with lots of cool spots.

Bretagne, France. 09 & 10 / 2021
Les Aiguilles de Port-Coton. A famous set of rocks in Belle-Île, impressive silhouettes enhanced by dusk light
La Pointe des Poulains
Grotte de l'Étoile
Small showers easily form above the rather warm ocean, which also means rainbows occur quite often on such an island
From some cliffs, you can see the turquoise waters and waves crashing from above
La Plage de Donnant, and its rocks shaped by the elements
Very impressive wave splashes reaching the size of cliffs. Weak light, rain and water everywhere in the air, not to mention that wind. One of the most memorable experiences of the trip, hence I wanted to include the image despite its bad quality.
Coast around la Pointe du Raz
Interesting statue, la Pointe du Raz
Where currents collide, waves constantly form and create hypnotic movements
La Pointe du Raz. For this last day in Brittany, we had the chance to witness a beautiful sunset at all its stages in this iconic place.
Le Phare de la Vieille
Thanks for watching !
