This is a spacecraft design for Tektite, a band i've been doing artwork for. In their current project aliens have discovered the voyager record, remixed it, and sent it back to Earth. This is the alien's spacecraft.
I was inspired by musical equipment, digital and analog, as music is a huge part of the alien's culture. The structure of the ship is based off of a turntable. The domes contain dynamically interchangeable recording studios.
