The Hyena Encounter.
On my travel and Photo Safaris, i have on numerous occasions come across Hyenas, and specifically the Spotted Hyena. Yes spotted because we have different species in Kenya. On a recent trip to the Tsavo East, on a casual evening game drive we came across a Hyena den. This turned out to be a more special encounter for one reason, the Hyenas had a den under the road on a culvert and were sleeping out on the road. This mean we had to take a side road and this gave me an opportunity to have an eye level interaction with the Hyenas. The light was also fading out fast and on some of the images, you can see the last rays of the sun streaking into the images.
