"Wag-ART-shi " is a still life photographic series based on the article called The Art of Wagashi. Wagashi are traditional Japanese desserts that have a long culture and traditional. These desserts which have been prominent since the Edo period of Japan, eventually became a type of edible art-form. These photographs are my own interpretation of supporting images for this editorial article, accompanied by a quote that compliments the photograph. Curated and thematically designed to match the aesthetic of the refine art of the traditional Wagashi.
