The bachelor thesis deals with the Bavarian State Opera. In the course of this work, I wanted to show what is behind the scene of the National Theater Munich. The state opera wouldn´t work if the two poles: the visible and invisible would not merge.
As the book title „It is all obvious, the individual a secret.“ already says, there is the obvious and the secret.
The left book is determined by what visitors perceive in the opera and what he knows about the opera. The visible book, the white book, is a kind of illustrated book with the places that can be visited at any time. It becomes the first part of the bookname „It is all obvious ...“.
In the right book, the reader can see behind the scenes and sees what he can not view and does not know. This book is black because of the fact that the information that one views in the book are actually held in secret, one can not see it. The black book, the secret, is a detailed book, it gives information, pictures and quotes about spaces and situations that one never sees as a regular opera visitor. This book gets the second part of the book „... the individual a secret. „ Therefore, the overall title is: „It is all obvious, the individual a secret.“
The concept of this work and the realization is completely done by myself. Text, photos and everything else I have done without any help. My designed book is completly finsihed an could go to press. The theater is debating to print my book.
