A Room with a View I Type Book
redesign a book using experimental type and image

This book is about a young woman's struggle to create her own view and escape the one made by society. Her story challenges the traditional notion of a woman's role in the restrained culture of Edwardian era England. By utilizing black and white photographs in conjunction with abstract paintings made specifically for this redesign, the story is made more clear showing the struggle of the main character Lucy wanting to flee society's expectations and be more free to choose her own 'view.'
Here is a collection of spread styles from the book.
