FESTIVALL is an app prototype that makes finding accessible events easier than ever. Users create a profile and find events that they are able to customize to their needs so that they are able to enjoy the event to the fullest.
This project focused on learning UI/UX principles and putting them to use. I used different resources to make sure my text and colors were easily read and visible. After some research I chose the typefaces Quicksand and PT Serif because they are supposed to be easier to read than other serif and san serif typefaces. I also put my color palette through a color contrast check to make sure that any text would have a 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
The UI/UX principles that I learned about during this project are important for any accessible design and is something that I will keep practicing in further projects.
