How do you visually communicate the main idea of a magazine article in a creative way? This project involved art direction, photo manipulation, and layout design.

I designed this book cover early-on in my design education, but I feel that it is particularly successful, because I was able to creatively communicate a message visually through metaphor. If you look closely, you can see that the butterflies are made out of pencil shavings- something that is often thrown away. This is because the book is about a man who struggles with hoarding.
