Temponautas: Video game concept
This project idea came from a 30-page essay that studied time travel as a strategy. Data showed how people in Ecuador are every year less ecological. A qualitative research was conducted on young students, and it showed how they don´t get enough environmental education from school or home. An idea to attract young people from science fiction was born.
The project uses science fiction as a narrative to generate environmental awareness among young people in Quito. The brand-system Temponautas was created, whose main character Cyan, raises awareness through a video game.The secondary character, Jacinto, is based on my grandfather, this is just a tribute.
The final product consisted on mock up of a video game cd case, with a brochure with information about the game story and characters and a poster.
