Introduction

M&M Pacific Coast Farms has been proudly growing Blueberries since 1979. The client's goal is to meet the highest standards of Food Safety, Good Agricultural Practices, and Sustainability.

I don't think I've ever worked on a project that was more in line with my passions and values. This project was the perfect marriage between the topics that I love: environmental consciousness & sustainability, farming & nature; and some of my favourite parts of graphic design: responsive web development and css styling. On top of that, the client came to us with no requirements other than to stay on brand with their logo, meaning I pretty much had free reign on the art direction of the website.

The Design

Inspired by the client's tagline "Growers of the Finest Quality Blueberries Since 1979", the art direction of the website speaks to the client's long-standing legacy. Chosen graphics and illustrations were combined with a vintage-inspired colour palette to pay tribute to the farm's history. While the client did not have official

brand colours, I made sure the project stayed on brand by picking colours from the logo and using them as the foundation to develop different shades and hues.
