Winter Tea Blend
Date: December 2013

This winter my husband and I decided to experiment with creating our own tea blends and packaging them as small gifts for our close friends.
We started off by reading and testing . We knew we wanted the tea to be herbal, to help our friends warm up and relax during the winter months.

Our first favourite consisted of:
rosehip as a healthy base,
lavender  to help soothe and relax,
blackcurrant with an aromatic nose,
chocolate chip for our sweet tooth.

Our second one had:
rosehip as a healthy base,
lavender  to help soothe and relax,
raspberry leaf for its herbaceous nutrition,

Next, we started an assembly line of jarring, writing the ingredients, branding, and adding a small touch of celebration.
The weather was on our side, as the trees froze and the storm layed down a white blanket of snow. I had to take advantage for this lovely opportunity for an outdoor photo shoot.

Enjoy!
