EN A few days ago I did a poll in my stories about which tourist attraction, where the residents wore typical costumes, you would like me to draw. Among the various places mentioned, the one chosen was Japan.
So I chose to draw a festival that has fascinated me since I was a child, the Shichi-Go-San, a rite of passage for three- and seven-year-old girls, five-year-old and sometimes three-year-old boys, held annually on November 15th.
It took many hours of research to draw the scene of these three siblings who are leaving the temple, happy and having fun with their origami turtle and their sweets Chitose ame.
