This project is about other side of Usti nad Labem, super industrial city situated in north part of Czech republic.

 

If you hear Usti you probably recall all those pictures of surface mines, high smokestacks of chemical industies and heavy grey dirty fog. 

In these photographs we are trying to point out the other side of this city not the notoriously known but diametrically different side of Usti nad Labem.  That is that Usti is situated in beautiful landscape of Czech central mountains and even though this summer theatre is situated almost in the heart of the city it feels much more like in the middle of the forrest. 

 

By this work we are trying to show a very close connection with nature and architecture, which is held back on purpose.
