Kitchen and beyond Ghana limited deals in a wide range of kitchen appliances. They sell premium kitchen appliance which ranges from cookware, fridges, kettles microwaves, blander, and anything one may basically need in the kitchen to prepare that dish or meal.
Design Process
In order to achieve the clients request, I had to thinks strategically. The length of the brands name was a little lengthy in combination with its tagline. In view of that it rather necessary to separate the main logo from the tagline. The signature reads kitchen and beyond Gh limited, which follows by the brands tagline cook right. But due to lengthy nature, I had to break the signature into two sections. The main logo and the tagline must be present on every visual communication output.
The separation enables me to play around the typography and also affected the selection of colour palette as well.
A simple sans serif typeface was used to create a simple readable logotype. Aileron as the main typography and Montserrat as the supportive typography. Considering the target audience and Tweaking the typography by adjusting the tracking and the inclusion of the brands mark on top of the letter “I’ ’that makes it unique and gave it that extra flair.
I based on a simple readable logomark, Bold, easy to read and created an icon which will represent and identify the brand in any visual communication related output.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the challenges I to want single out was the lengthy nature of the brands name, I resolved that issue by simply separating the tagline from the main logo. For it to be placed diagonally in any visual communication.
