While the above statement is the drive of any piece of communication, this project had to work within the setting
of a further education institution.

 

The design brunch is held for the FdA Graphic Design course at Weston College every year, to allow the BTEC and UAL students on the campus.

 

Taking from the simple idea of visual nourishment, the final solution took alphabetti spaghetti, a classic tea time treat, and made it the metaphor of considering education differently, which is at the core of the course.

 

The reaction from the audience was positive with many students picking up all the postcard design and sample tin of alphabetti spaghetti, with enthusiasum with many staying on to talk with the 5 a day team members and available lecturing staff.

Resulting in a strong application from both UAL Art Foundation and BTEC Graphic Design courses for the FdA.
