Throughout
history, textiles embody the human desire to bring elements from the natural world into our living spaces. Often abstracted and highly stylized, floral motifs have been among the most popular for hundreds of years. What would Anthropocene age floral look like? For this piece, I was inspired by the natural and manmade fusion of paper fliers stapled to moss-covered telephone poles in Portland.
