A etapa marcou o retorno da WSL no Brasil e aconteceu nas areias da Praia Mole, em Florianópolis. Foram 176 surfistas de 9 países dando show de surfe nos 4 dias intensos de festa.
A Layback é marca que mais investe e incentiva a construção de pistas de skate no país, patrocinando skatistas e surfistas. Portanto, realizar esse evento foi um sonho para a marca e todas as pessoas envolvidas.

The stage marked the return of WSL in Brazil and took place in Praia Mole, in Florianópolis. There were 176 surfers from 9 countries giving surfing shows during the 4 intense days of the party.

Layback is the brand that invests the most in and encourages the construction of skate parks in the country, sponsoring skaters and surfers. Therefore, holding this event was a dream for the brand and all the people involved.
Processo Criativo
A assinatura do evento foi desenvolvida manualmente com a ferramenta ruling pen. Os respingos da caligrafia buscam retratar os mesmos respingos da onda quando é feito uma manobra.
E pra deixar ainda mais representativo a magia da Praia Mole, o elemento de apoio principal é a silhueta das pedras que ficam ao Sul da praia (onde se pode enxergar um dragão deitado).
Creative Process
The event signature was developed manually with the ruling pen tool. Calligraphy splashes are intended to portray the same splash as the wave when a maneuver is performed.
And to make the magic of Praia Mole even more representative, the main supporting element is the silhouette of the stones that are to the south of the beach (where can you see a dragon lying).
