Donaction is a wearable digital wristband, but it’s much more than a band…
The magic word DONACTION is made of ‘’Donate’’ and ‘’Action’’. Basically it’s a personal data tracker takes data from your body and converts into a piece of help. The idea is letting the user to convert his or her body energy into a meaningful value; a bread, a bottle of milk or a meal.
There are 3 fancy icons on DONACTION wristband:
A bread icon, a milk bottle icon and a meal icon.
Each icon symbolizes a different level of donation.
You just need to move…The more you walk or run, the more you help and make sense of your body.
STRATEGY FOR EXECUTION AND THE NEXT STEPS:
Actually with this idea, we take Nike’s Fuelband to another level…So we need to generate a partnership with Nike and R/GA. A simple interface might be integrated into Nike’s Fuelband. So the Fuelband users keep tracking their sports. Also when they reached MILK, BREAD and MEAL icons, the NIKE brand will help people who need help. Finally we will be able to generate an active platform that is fighting against poverty.
