2021 | Convention | Mamasa Indah Hills, Sulawesi Barat
A convention that purposely to have various event, like a big government meeting or can be used for wedding reception. Inspired from barn Banua (traditional Mamasa house), a place where usually used by Mamasa people for gathering when they are in home. As same as house on stilts concept, this room construction has a lot of view symmetrically. The door design inspired by the main pillar at Banua, and the handle itself inspired by the buffalo horn (imitation) as a pride symbol of the Mamasa host.
The stage purposely designed with a simple white wall to fulfill the multifunction aspect of the room. It can be used for an unpermanent banner government meeting or a blank canvas to the wedding decorator to put their creativity freely.
