THE CLIENT

DEJAVU86 is a JDM motor workshop focused on customs and elaborations of iconic models from the Japanese Domestic Market.


SOLUTION

Inspired by JDM in anime and manga, retro ads, and graphics from Japanese brands, we developed a type-heavy branding system.
We designed a custom-lettered responsive logo plus an extensive pack of lockups to be mixed and repeated. Bold typography and iconography are combined with glitchy animations to convey a retro, technical look & feel. The identity is brought to life by a neutral color scheme with neon accents, and shiny chrome type executions.
