Snappy animation is a style of animation that uses very fast transition between poses, the character "snaps" from one pose to the other. References would be any WB cartoons of more recently Pixar's Presto.

As for achieving it's probably a bit complicated to do in a forum post, but firstly you should have very clear poses and play with your timing to change from one to the other very quickly. That doesn't mean 1-frame computer in-between, you do have to work your breakdown poses so the audience understands the flow of the character. Don't be afraid of stretching your character to insanity, the audience will not read that pose but will feel a fluid but fast motion, that's the goal.
