In this personal project, I wanted to further develop my skills in Adobe Photoshop through digital art. Adobe Photoshop is great for editing, however, I love to use it more for the digital drawing aspect. It is something I enjoy greatly, although I am still learning as I go along. I am more well verse with traditional mediums, so moving to digital art has been a challenge, but it is a challenge that I enjoy!

For Adobe Photoshop, I have downloaded many brush tools that give different types of textures and styles to my art pieces. However, I soon realised that there plenty of brushes to go through, which many I have yet to learn how to use or have even used at all! With so much of a variety in brush tools, I realised I would need to not only learn how to use each brush tool in the best way possible; but I would also need to narrow down my choices, so that I can keep only the brush tools that I love and enjoy using.

With this in mind, I decided to set myself a task, which is ongoing. This task is to use one brush tool for every digital art piece I create. This way, I can test the potential of my brush tools and see which ones I love the most.

In this particular piece, I used a scene from the music video 'Serendipity' by BTS Jimin. It involves the use of yellow and blue shades. As the scene itself felt as though it flowed, I decided to use the oil paint brush tools for it! I like how the result came out, but I also know that I can further improve my skills with more practice. Oil paint brushes are difficult to use!
