Why we decide to rebrand L'Europe Restaurant logo?
 
1.The unique restaurant must have a unique logo: the current one is just lettering of Times replicant font — Dutch 801 Bold (font that was desiged for the newspapper purposes).
 
2. Absence of contextual connection between the logo and the restaurant styles: newspapper font for restaurant logo looks like a random and weak decision.

3. RLE: unsuccesfull composion makes a senseless (and therefore distract) abriviation accent.
 
4. Clumsy structure: its impossible to use short version or just an element without losing the brand awareness.

The concept was inspired by astonishing and fine mixture of late art nouveau interiors and contemporary aproaches that the restaurant provides to its guests. So the art nouveau style lettering meets the dynamic and open composition accented with the restaurant special marks — shine of warm and rich electric light.
New logo (basic)
To make stylistic accent on electric light which, accompany with colourful vitrage, fills the spacious restaurant interior all the letters (except O) are designed as monospaced letters. Letter O has double-space width and symbolised the big old-fashioned electric bulbs in the restaurant.

The new logo perfectly fits to the blank oval figure in restaurant concrete decor.
