Analog Record System 2022

The process involved rethinking planners and their role in our daily lives. Following a year of quarantines and solitude, we wanted to create an item that would do more than serve as a record of events. Researching time as a concept and considering the theory of relativity, which is definitive in its conclusion that time is relative –in terms of quantity at least– the question of how one measures time arose. Whether via apps or in print form, throughout the year we each record our meetings, projects, events, trips, income, all in terms of quantity. Yet at the end of each year we can recall certain moments, projects or people that are of bigger importance. Following that train of thought, the Analog Record System 2022 explores how we perceive time in terms of quantity and quality.
