My camera allows me to capture the complexities of reality and the abstractions of fantasy. The visual narratives that I seek stem from stories that have transcendent themes. The current direction of my work combines the aesthetic quality characteristic of photographic symbolism with the documentary objectivity typical of modernism. By blending meaning with form, I strive to make photographs that challenge preconceptions, strike bastions of established beliefs, and stir the cauldrons of emotions. My artistic journey has made me realize the power of photography. I discovered that photographs can prompt us to empathize and incite us to action.
