Week 15 - Monkey
In honor of national monkey day, we were required to create a monkey positioned in a jungle setting. The first layer consisted of two two rectangles (one for the jungle ground and the other for the sky) that covered the art board. The gradient tool was used to fill both these shapes in. For the sky, a cloud brush (made with circle shape tool and transparency panel) was used to make clouds. This layer was locked and the next one was used to create the forest foliage. The pen tool and circle shape tool were used to create trees. The tree the monkey was hanging on was also created in this layer. The next layer consisted of the monkey that was made using the pen tool and shape tools. A banana scatter brush was made using the pen tool so that bananas can be seen dispersed all over the jungle floor
