Mexico was the third country with the highest number of deaths caused by Covid-19. And yet, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador continued to refuse to wear a mask.
Time Out, the free guide to the most important cities in the world, found a great fact. After several months of the pandemic without printing his magazine, we discovered that various studies showed that Sars-Cov-2 doesn't adhere to porous surfaces, such as the paper with which we print our magazine. So we decided to turn our first issue (after several months without printing it) into a face mask and distribute more than 100,000 copies for free in restaurants, bars, and crowded areas of México's capital city.
Because inviting people to go out and explore the city, means helping them to do so safely.
