My own version of "Hey You!" by Roy Lichtenstein
This was a project I created for our Western Art class where we are tasked to choose an artwork from a certain period and recreate our chosen work. I have picked the American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein's famous "Hey You" from 1973 using Autodesk Sketchbook.
The Ben Day process, in which a screen of colored dots is used to provide texture and shading, forms a prominent part of the image, as do the flat primary colors and thick black outlines.
