Daily Illustrations

 

A feature I’ve been asking my Tumblr followers to partake in by suggesting things for me to draw in Illustrator. These are my favourites; a ‘retro boom box’ and a ‘squids tentacles’. I really liked drawing these as it’s a great way to familiarise yourself with tools on Illustrator. The boom box taught me more about using different shades of a colour to add the illusion of depth and shadow. I used a gradient on the squid tentacle illustration which was something I hadn’t used before but quite liked the outcome.
