For the Proverbial Wisdom project you are to use font to gain a viewers attention to the message "He kisses the lips Who gives a right answer" (Proverbs 24:26). The project consisted of finding type fonts to draw for thumbnails and then create an online version using illustrator. The pitch for this proverbial wisdom quote is “He kisses the lips Who gives a right answer” the intended audience for the quote from Proverbs 24:26 is meant for all people under the Christian faith as “ He” is referring to God. This quote is appropriate for all because it teaches that doing the right thing leads to goodness given to you afterwards.

For the thumbnails I explored difference in font types with the use of weight, also highlighting key words. For example adding weight to create a new message within of "He is the right answer" and " Right answer", I did this to highlight the main section of the proverb.

The rough drafts chosen are the key thumbnails because they highlight the main cause of the message in a clear formatted way the eye can easily follow, although the font differences it is still easy to comprehend the proverb.

As for color I tried to retain a soft neutral colors, but one with a bright red and blue to include contrast in color. For this project I decided neutral colors was best because the proverb used is a softer message and would come off 'harsh' with loud colors.

For this project I have chose this as my final copy because the pink, purple, and orange tones suggest a caring attitude as it is not loud bright colors. I like the usage of making "right" larger in size because it creates emphasis on the ideals throughout the message of good morals.

Overall the proverbial wisdom project was to focus on typography and placement of lettering. I believe I did a good job transforming a proverb that is easy to follow with colors that brings an aura of peace into the final.
